• Personal details: name, phone number, email address, and other details you provide when booking appointments, contacting us, creating an account, or placing a shop order.
• Appointment details: clinic, service, preferred time, visit notes you share (including “Other” requests), and related scheduling history.
• Shop details: products ordered, delivery or pickup preferences, and cash-on-delivery fulfilment information.
• Frame Advisor style labels (optional): if you use Frame Advisor, we may store face-shape and colouring labels (for example “oval”, “brown eyes”) on your device and, when you are signed in, on your account so recommendations follow you. Camera analysis runs in your browser; we do not upload or store your scan photo by default. You can reset labels in Frame Advisor.
• Device location (optional): if you choose “Use my location” while booking, we use your approximate location only in your browser to suggest the closest clinic. We do not require location to book.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and site usage data collected through analytics tools and cookies.
• Booking activity counts: when you open the booking form or confirm a visit, we record that it happened, with the clinic, service, and whether the visit is in person or virtual. That count does not include your name, phone, email, or notes.
• Payment details: when online card payments are enabled, limited billing information is processed by our payment partners. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Observer is our on-site assistant for hours, services, booking help, and shop questions. Messages you send in chat may be processed to reply and improve the assistant. Observer does not give medical advice and is not a substitute for a clinical exam.

For symptoms or emergencies, call the clinic or book an in-person visit.

• To personalise Frame Advisor recommendations from style labels you accept or edit.

Our Lekki and Enugu clinics work as one practice. If you visit more than one of our locations, your patient record is shared between them so that either clinic can look after you. Only authorised staff at those locations can see it.

We may share limited information with trusted partners solely to complete a service or order, for example payment processors, courier or fulfilment partners, email/SMS providers, analytics providers, and Microsoft Teams (for virtual optical consults).

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy, such as appointment records, order history, clinical continuity where applicable, or legal requirements. If you delete your online account from profile settings, access ends immediately; we retain account data for up to 30 days, then permanently delete it (clinical or legal retention may still apply to visit records).

You may update your profile, or delete your online account from Account → Your details (Danger zone). We use industry-standard protections such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), secure hosting, and limited staff access. No online platform is 100% secure, so please share information responsibly.
